Oval bust portraits of the two candidates, Fremont on the left, appear in a frame decorated with stars and a shield. A small oval with a bust of George Washington appears below. Above the portraits is an eagle clutching arrows and an olive branch, flanked by American flags. Rays of light emanate from around the eagle.
